Bookkeeping - the basis for your tax returns
Full bookkeeping for an eenmanszaak (sole proprietorship) or a BV, with annual accounts where these are required. Your records stay current through the year, so the figures are usable when you need them rather than only afterwards.
This might be for you if you're dealing with
The complete records of an eenmanszaak or BV, including VAT returns
The annual accounts and their filing with the Chamber of Commerce
The figures forming the basis for your income tax or corporate income tax return
Bringing a backlog in your records up to date
Payroll administration
Financial reporting for the Tax Authorities, a bank or an investor
Process
Documents can be supplied continuously or per quarter, depending on your preference. Delivering the information is possible through a link with your accounting software, a folder of scans, or the paperwork as you receive it. The financial data is recorded and processed into the VAT returns. Interim reporting is available. Once the financial year closes, the year-end work follows, and for a BV the annual accounts and their filing with the Chamber of Commerce. Tax points are addressed during the year rather than at the filing.
Deadlines
For a BV, the annual accounts must be filed with the Chamber of Commerce within twelve months of the end of the financial year. For an eenmanszaak, the records form the basis for the income tax return, generally due before 1 May. The deadlines are monitored, and you'll hear in good time what is still needed for them.
Up-to-date records also prevent corrections to the VAT returns: errors there often only come to light at the year-end close, when putting them right takes more work than it would have at the time.
Fixed price
Bookkeeping carries a fixed fee per period, adjusted if the scope or complexity structurally changes. What it costs for your situation is fixed before the work begins.
